How many fish will we catch on an half day charter?
There are numerous factors that affect the way fish bite, wind action, storms, rainfall amounts. On most half day trips, an individual should expect to catch numerous amounts and types of fish while out with us. You might have to throw some of these back due to federal size limits.

How far out will we go on a half day trip?

Half day trips go between 3 and 10 nautical miles off the coastline.

How far out will we go on a gulf stream trip?

Gulf stream trips range between 30 and 50 miles out and are 11 hour trips.

What type fish can you catch in Myrtle Beach?

On the half day trips, we are catching black sea bass, ringtails, tomtates, porgies, blues, flounder and shark. If you venture further out on a gulf stream trip, you can catch grouper, snapper, jumbo bass, trigger fish, rudders, sharks, amber jacks, dolphin and other top water fish as well.

Do we need to take some type of motion sickness preventive medicine?

We always recommend taking preventative measures any time someone sets foot on a vessel heading out to sea.

What do we need to wear?

Dress as if you were going to spend a day outdoors. Layers are recommended in the spring and fall. In the summer, shorts and  t-shirts are good on most days. Don’t forget the sunscreen.We recommend close toed shoes, however flips flops are fine.


Can we keep the fish that we catch?

You are allowed to keep the fish you catch, however there are multiple species with size limits (if they are too small, you must throw them back) and seasonal closures. These change and vary throughout the year.

Do I need a fishing License?

No. Licenses are included on all trips. If you fish with us, we’ve got you covered.

I have family members that don’t want to fish, can they go with me?

Yes, we allow non fishermen to go at a reduced rate based on availability.
