Our Story

Multiple generations. Two historic fleets. One family building something that lasts.

Where We Came From

This started long before GPS, before online booking, before "content creation" was a thing people did on boats.

The Hurricane Fleet has been running these waters since 1948. Little River Fishing Fleet joined in 1985. What began as single-boat operations grew into something bigger, not by accident, but by showing up every day, treating people right, and putting fish in coolers when the bite was on.

Today, we operate both fleets as one family business, carrying forward a legacy that's older than most of the people booking trips with us.

Who We Are

Cameron Sebastian is the operations manager and one of the captains. He's been fishing and diving the Grand Strand for over 30 years, long enough to know these waters the way most people know their commute.

His wife manages operations. Their daughter, Brittany, is positioned to carry this forward into the next generation.

Between our captains and mates, we've got more combined experience on Carolina waters than we'd care to count. Some of our crew have been running boats longer than a lot of customers have been alive.

This isn't a side hustle. It's what we do. It's what we've always done.

Why We're Still Here

The Hurricane and Little River Fleets have been the area leader in specialty trips with less crowded vessels for decades. We pride ourselves on great customer service and giving you the best value for your money.

People trust us with their families, their celebrations, their once-a-year fishing trips. We don't take that lightly.

We're closer to the ocean than most competitors, which means more time fishing and less time in transit. We limit capacity on specialty trips so you actually have room to fish. We maintain our fleet because shortcuts aren't worth the risk. And we hire professional crews who understand that a kid's first catch matters just as much as a trophy tuna.

That's the part we don't compromise on. That's the part that keeps people coming back.

What's Next

Seventy-five years is a long time to be doing anything. But we're not done.

We're modernizing systems. We're building digital infrastructure that matches the quality of what we do on the water. We're training the next generation of captains and crew. And we're making sure that 20 years from now, families can still book a trip with Little River and Hurricane, and it'll feel like the same company their grandparents fished with.

Because legacy is more than just history. It's also about what you're building for the people who come next.
