I had a prior bad experience in a 4 hr near shore and was worried on going on our deep sea full day with Little River Fishing fleet again, Josh and Lee sure made me a loyal customer for any and all future trips out. The crew of the “SS Blue Runner” was ready to embark on their maiden voyage out into open waters. The young, but trusty Captain Holden was at the helm. It would be a beautiful day of catch and release of a number of Genuine Red Snappers, a wee bit undersized Gag Grouper, a Sandbar Shark and some other small fish. But a catch of 10 keepers came in an assortment of Spanish Mackerel, Black Sea Bass, Trigger Fish and a Ringtail Porgy. Since 1985, Little River Fishing Fleet has been the area leader in Deep Sea Fishing Charters and Open Boat Fishing Trips in the Myrtle Beach area. Our trip went out of Calabash, North Carolina right on the Calabash Creek. Our well weathered but sturdy boat the Blue Runner was a 35 foot Custom Fishing Vessel with a 13 foot beam and a semi-enclosed cabin. Our crew of one, Holden, was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly making our outing an enjoyable time.

Great experience, we left early morning so the view was amazing. My wife caught a shark my son thought that was so cool!

I caught 2 Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks and a Spanish Mackerel! Captain Henry and First Mate Kelly made our trip an amazing trip. I have little to no fishing experience and had a wonderful time. Our crew were helpful, informative and accommodating; they provided the perfect assistance to feel independent but not intimidated. Our group of 4 from Oklahoma caught 5 shark and 5 mackerel (and a jellyfish) total while both trolling and drop fishing on a 4 hour trip - well worth the price!

I just got back from the best fishing trip I've ever had. Brandon and Ricky Made the entire experience awesome. I've never seen anyone work as hard as Ricky did and both of these gentlemen wanted nothing more than to make our day a great success. We had captain Lee and first mate Dalton. We did a half day tour on 9/20/22. Those guys were awesome. Put us on a good slew of fish. Great guys easy going easy to get along with and very dedicated to making sure we had a good time and caught fish. 10/10 can’t thank y’all enough we will be back for a longer charter with Lee and Dalton. Didn’t catch much as the waters were super choppy today. But the guides Brianna and I believe Brittany were awesome. Good experience will definitely be back.

Great trip. Our Captin was amazing. He did a great job of putting us on fish and walking those who where new through the process. Next deep sea fishing trip I book will definitely be with Little River fishing fleet.

My husband and I embarked on a fishing excursion today with Captain Tab and Michael, and despite a bout of seasickness, it turned out to be an excellent experience. The trip was punctual, with the boat leaving precisely at the scheduled time and returning right on time. Even with 11 guests, the boat never felt overcrowded, providing a comfortable setting for everyone. We went approximately 8-10 miles out. I managed to catch a grouper and a variety of smaller fish, and the crew efficiently cleaned the ones we were allowed to keep. Michael's attentiveness and helpfulness truly stood out. He played a pivotal role in making our trip enjoyable, despite the seasickness. In the end, it was a memorable trip, and we appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the crew. Kudos to Michael for going above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. We look forward to another excursion with this fantastic team.

My daughter and I went out with Josh and Dawson on the 6 hour trip Saturday and loved it so much that we booked an 11 hour trip and went out again on Tuesday. They are fantastic!!

Highly recommend this company. I usually book them every other month for the gulf stream trips. Staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and hardworking. Always have positive interactions with them. Captain Josh is a class act and will put you on big fish. He and his mates have made me a repeat customer. Always a pleasure fishing with them. And the kind women who answers the phone and checks me in, she's also wonderful. This fleet has good vibes all around.

Had so much fun. The crew was super helpful at taking our fish off the hooks and rebaiting our lines immediately. Definitely will be back!

Dawson & Lee were the best crew we've ever had on a fishing trip... anywhere! Super helpful, full of great energy and tons of fun! My dad and I went on LRFF's 3/4 Day Fishing Charter. They were ran on time, were helpful getting everyone to & on the boat, so super helpful and very quick during our fishing (I don't touch fish?‍♀️?), and were nice enough to show us dolphins and some other cool nature stuff on our way back to the dock. Worth every penny and then some! Boat was ran on time, was clean, and there was space for everyone! Highly recommend, and we will definitely return when we have an itchin for some fishin!!! ? Thanks gentlemen!!

Great all day trip with a great crew! I was part of a 10 person group of friends and lucked out having the boat to ourselves. The Captain kept us on the fish and the mate kept everyone baited and helped greatly during the entire 11 hours.

Me and my boyfriend had a blast today on our 3/4 day with captain Josh and First mate Dawson. With taking two different charters out on our trip this one was by far the best Josh and Dawson were amazing to us and everyone else on board constantly helping everyone with unhooking fish and baiting. We will for be booking another trip with these gentlemen again hopefully in the near future. Not two mention we saw dolphins so we got a two for one deal.

Went on Atlantic Star today.. Had a blast fishing. Caught lot of fish and the staff, especially Michael, were very nice and so helpful.i highly recommend checking them out of you're looking to fish.

We went on a private fishing trip with Captain Alec & Will which made the trip! They were super helpful & knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of sea bass, pigfish, & sharks. Definitely would recommend these guys they go above & beyond to make sure you get something while out on the water! Enjoy a little glimpse of our great day.

We booked a trip to the gulf stream on the Southern Tide. Weather wasn't the best when we got under way, but Captain Dave and mate Michael persevered and got us out to the fish. We had a great day of fishing and the fish were mostly cooperating. Captain Dave moved around until he found the fish that were willing to participate in the fun and they were a tremendous help to us. All those in our group all had a great time and I definitely recommend this crew and boat for anyone's fishing adventure.
